Play KSR Game Contest: Kentucky v Harvard
It's not a spelling test, it's another version of the Hall of Fame Game Contest. Will you be inducted? Installed? Initiated? Admitted? Let in? (Working on my vocabulary).
1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.
2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.
3. OVER/UNDER: Highest Mensa IQ Score possible is 161 for adults, so we'll make that the OVER/UNDER score: predict whether Kentucky and Harvard's combined score will be OVER the I.Q. maximum, or UNDER the I.Q. maximum, and by how many?
4. Tuition reimbursement: Harvard's tuition is $61,650 for 2017-18, or 61k. Predict which KENTUCKY player will score closest to 61 in his POINTS x REBOUNDS. Just need the PLAYER and not the points who will have closest to 61 in Points x Rebounds.
Tiebreaker: Harvard's total FG percentage + 2017-18 incoming class acceptance percentage (5.2%).
Good luck!

Re: Play KSR Game Contest: Kentucky v Harvard
I know, it should have been 62k rather than 61k. But we'll go with 61 since I started it with that. Maybe we'll get a scholarship for the rest.

We'll put a PAR-Boiled question in the next game, Doc. Loved the Points x Assists x Rebounds stuff you developed last year (or was it year before?)

SORRY--THIS POINT WAS INCORRECTLY AWARDED. MY APOLOGIES.
A Harvard player scored 25 points tonight to lead all scorers. Since nobody chose him, no point is awarded.
I am sorry, catmanjack. Totally my error.

79-70 = 149, or 12 under. Perfect pick earns point #3.

Richards with 9 points, 7 rebounds had 63, just 2 off. Lot of points awarded here.

These are the winners of the tuition reimbursement.

With two points, Catmanjack earns the Hall of Fame win!

Re: Play KSR Game Contest: Kentucky v Harvard
I must not understand how this works lol. Didn’t Krank come closest on the tiebreaker among the point getters? It wouldn’t be the first time this game has me confused. I’ll be playing more and just want to understand :)

The tiebreaker is for, like, when you have two people tie.
Catmanjack won 2 points. Nobody else won more than 1.

There's a log jam with players with one point...No point should be awarded for #2.

AHHHHHH
MY MISTAKE!!
Sorry, I just gravitated toward Kentucky without thinking that Hahvaad might've had that winner.
The correction will--as Catfan73 indicated--move this to a tiebreaker.

Re: Play KSR Game Contest: Kentucky v Harvard
Tiebreaker was Harvard FG percentage + admission percentage.
They hit 37.1% from the field, and have 5.2% admission percentage, so the correct tiebreaker is 42.3%.
There were CRAZY good tiebreakers this time, but Catfan73 is correct--Krank was closest with 42.1%, missing by just 0.2%. Since EACH PLAYER WON ONLY ONE POINT (I'm capitalizing for my thick-headed benefit), the tiebreaker was necessary, and Krank is the winner.
My apologies to catmanjack!

DAMN RIGHT!
Oh, and, sorry too to jack...
he's good though... he'll win again soon methinks.

Sorry, Krank--glad I had folks watching my back for me. I really appreciate the heads up from folks catching my errors!

Dude, I've been in EXACTLY your shoes... and I agree... mistakes are sometimes made.
No sweat, my man!
