Field Goal Frenzy: Week One
We tried this at the end of last week as an exhibition, and kinda liked it as an easy to play additional game. Rules are simple. Each week we'll post the games that are the "close" games--i.e., the ones where the odds are a field goal, or less.
Pick the winner of the game. No point spread needed.
If your team wins the game, you get 1 point. The twist is, however, if your team was the underdog--by any amount--you get a "bonus" of ½ point.
EXAMPLE:
1. Team A favored by 2 over Team B. Team A wins.
If you picked Team A, you get 1 point. If you picked Team B, you get 0 points.
2. Team A favored by 2 over Team B. Team B wins.
If you picked Team A, you get 0 points. If you picked Team B, you get 1½ points.
We'll keep up with Weekly Winners and Season Leader.
Here is the first week, 5 games on the horizon. From 5 to 7½ points can be yours if you pick the right teams.
