Liberals: Trump has no right to contest 2020 election results. It was all legit.
All depends on which side you are on my friend.
What a fantasy. I’ve never met a liberal, myself included that thought/thinks this.
The 2016 election was legitimate. Trump had every right to contest and present evidence, to which he failed.

Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
Liberals and big tech users have been besmirching Parler for quite some time, calling it a congregation of white supremacists, antisemetic child pornographers (aka republicans). I've yet to encounter any kiddie porn or racist posts...but if I did I would report and move on. Part of a free society is having options, and not just the options some people like

Not a fantasy. Trump has been called illegitimate by the other side since he was elected. They’ve spent four years investigating and trying to push the whole Russian interference crap.

Don't waste your time. Best approach is to ignore. You will be happier

Nonsense.
The Republican Senate Intelligence committee determined that Russia interfered in the election in favor of Trump. So did the Mueller report.
There’s a difference in saying there is interference and whether an election is legitimate or not.
Trump won and lost the election fairly. There was no voter fraud to impact either election, but Russia absolutely used social media as a tool to influence people. Those people still went to the ballot box and cast their votes legally.
See the difference?

Ignoring facts and believing alternative facts is how you end up with a President as a traitor, 23 million COVID cases, several hundred thousand deaths and entire families spreading to one another.

True. Wish this site had an ignore/block feature.

Never been on there and honestly don't know hardly a thing about it. But, I do not think kiddie porn or plans of violence against the government should be allowed. Just my two cents.

Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
I guess I missed the memo that said Parler talking points should include Republicans as child pornographers. I thought that was Q-Anon.
It’s really bizarre. I’ve seen several things today said about what liberals have said over the years. I’m a liberal and a progressive and somehow I have missed all of that.
Maybe some of my more left if center friends can point me towards where all these things happened.

Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
The funny thing about Parler is it’s owned by the Mercer’s, of Cambridge Analytica, of the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data mining scandal. There’s a certain level of irony in all these people moving from Facebook to Parler.

Fwiw, I also don’t think I should be able to sell cocaine on Offer Up.

As I said, I have been there and not seen any kiddie porn or calls for voilence. Only place I hear those accusations is from people and places not on the site....and the nonbias media

Word is now that Amazon Web Services is suspending them. They have until midnight tonight to find another hosting service.

This made me chuckle.

Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
Hypocrisy once again. When I did stuff on facebook I repeatedly got invite etc from "adult" sites and posters wanting to "be my friend"...as did my kids. I would also get "hot 23 yr old in Stuart looking for a companion" type things.
Was no control there. I did same as I do on Parler, ignore them because there was no method to block them
-
Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
No offense to my more liberal friends on here but if you see this banning of Parler as anything other than a silencing of conservative speech, then you really have your head in the sand.
-
Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
If it was merely conservative talk everyone wouldn’t be banning them.

yes, its all the antisemitic, racist, homophobic speech of the Trump supporters which I have never seen that is too much.
Here is the Wiki description:
Quote:
Parler has a significant user base of Donald Trump supporters, conservatives, conspiracy theorists, and right-wing extremists. Posts on the service often contain far-right content, antisemitism, and conspiracy theories such as QAnon. Journalists have described Parler as an alternative to Twitter, and users include those banned from mainstream social networks or opposing their moderation policies.
Because Trump supports by definition are conspiracy theorist (not like those on the left who claim Trump is the Manchurin Candidate for Russia) and antisemites. Clearly Wiki needs to update to add child pornographers and anarchists.

Btw, all of this will be for naught because I can nearly guarantee you that Trump will release his own in due time. He is about to become a digital giant and will make a fortune.

Re: For those using Parler - Be careful
The only solution to this is to hit the Big Tech in the pocketbook. how do we do that. Take away their ad revenue/hits. I am leaving FB. I am leaving Twitter. I am leaving Gmail (I was a beta tester in May of 2004, one month after it started).
It is going to be a PITA to shift all my contacts from gmail. but I am taking what revenue I can from those Tech entities. I would do same to the media entities but I never watch them anyway unless they have a sporting event I want to watch...and I quit NFL and NBA already.

No offense, but conservative speech is not being silenced. I would suspect that 99% of Parler users are not banned on Twitter, FB, IG and other social media sites.
You are simply seeing the effects of capitalism where two sides enter an agreement of terms and conditions. One side breaks the terms of those conditions, repeatedly. The other side exercises their rights to term the agreement and there ya go.
I suppose you're just salty because capitalism has worked against you this time.
Parler, Trump and anyone else that has been permanently suspended are free to have their day in court instead of whining about them being silenced. That is the system we have in place.
