I live right on Lake Okeechobee, and have for years. I see plenty of pygmy rattlers, water moccasins, and all kinds of corn snakes, black racers and the like, but in all the years I have lived here, and as much as I hear about them, I have yet to see any kind of a constrictor type snake.
Not that they're not around, I know they are, I just have not seen one myself.
All of these poisonous snakes and these predator constrictors are why I keep my .38 special with snake shot on my side when I take my fur babies out to do their business.
Now watch, as sure as I've said this, I'll see one.
