I'll vote for # 1 Home Alone over # 16 The Night Before, partly because I'm not sure I know what movie that is. No Cinderella upset in the 1/16 game for me.
My vote for the 8/9 match up is # 9, The Grinch over # 8 The Polar Express, but that one was enormously difficult for me. Daughter was an actor in The Polar Express train ride show in New Orleans one year and it holds a special place in my heart.
At the end of Friday, December 13 we'll tally up the votes to see who advances. Next voting will be Monday on the other side of the bracket.

In Monday's 2 Elf v 15 Four Christmases matchup, I'm going for the 15 over 2 upset. Wasn't as big an Elf fan as others, but Four Christmases, I thought was extremely funny. Give me Four Christmases in the upset.
For Tuesday's 7 A Charlie Brown Christmas v 10 Jingle All the Way, I have to plead ignorance, as I don't think I've seen Jingle All the Way. Nonetheless, I have seen A Charlie Brown Christmas, feel like it was underseeded, and would go with chalk here and 7 over 10.
