Cats in helmets.
First, that's great, I needed a chuckle.
Second, you know there are cat owners who are doing this in storms. With matching little outfits on them. making the cats completely suicidal.
Daggone winter still hanging on. Classic Ohio River Vally weather 35-40 degrees and rain.

Just griping here. It was a tough week or last 10 days as my wife and daughter both got infected. I was lucky or unlucky to stay out of it. Very fortunate that it was mild for my wife’s case and almost nothing for my 4-year-old but wife got it first and my girl got it a few days later and it required me a whole week to deal with it segregating everything. It was just tough for me to be alone, negative and stay away while taking care of them in our household. I just couldn’t do any for my job. My business inbox just exploded as I had been away from my laptop for a week or so. Exhausting to read all the emails I received but that is nothing much to compare with the situation for those in Ukraine. I’d rather be happy to take care of my fam in sick than leaving them in a situation like Ukraine. My heart goes out for them in there. God bless and hope peace to them.

Hang in there ribbonfish! The worm will turn.
Tomorrow’s forecast is for sun and 75°. Rain Sunday and Monday. Guess I’d better fertilize tomorrow so I’ll have something to do this summer.
You be careful, 'ear me?
Thanks!

Maybe now we can get on with the business of ringing in some spring type weather.

Happy equinox!
First time Skyline chili eater. I definitely approve. Wife said she could take it or leave it. Meh. I finished her order. More for me.
I had it with the habanero Cheddar cheese. I think the heat makes a difference.
I was raised on Cincy style chili but now I really don't care for it.
I moved to a chili I call "range" chili, that would be more what chili would be if you were out cooking remotely IMO. Got the original idea from an old cooking show back when things like food network showed actual cooking and you could learn things. Have been tweaking for decades now, and moving more and more away from my Cincy chili roots. Nothing like that now.
There's a place in DC/Northern Va that has great chili called Hard Times, and they have a chili that is all meat that is good, but that's just too basic for my long term tastes. And too greasy too.
Anyway, Cincy chili is so tomato based, and mine now has no tomatoes in it at all. Also it's served with spaghetti, and I just can't stand pasta in my chili any more. I was raised on it, but just don't like it now.
No knock on it, I grew up on it, but I went a different direction.
The cincy cinnamon/nutmeg spice thing is just all wrong for my chili taste buds.

My chili calls for 2 cups of tomato juice and 2 1/2 cups of water.
