Shoot! Now Darrell is winning again.

Darrell won’t win.
Pretty sure someone who can actually lock threads will be the winner.... Just sayin'
BWAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
I kill threads often. Does that count as locking?
Don't worry it would never work. More than one can, so someone else will just unlock it.
This is more like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. We'll have a winner at the End of Days. Which, as it turns out, may be some time this year. :)
Time to cut the grass, here we go, one down, roughly 25 more times to go.

Dang, boss. Already have three mowings in...of course I was leaving a wake the first time.
I went 6+ months without firing up the lawnmower until last week.
I’ve actually got two areas of grass that I keep cut. My yard, which is a corner lot, so the front, side, and back, and then I have another section below my back yard which I affectionately refer to as the low lands.
The low lands has two underground springs that keep the upper part of the property pretty wet until about mid June. Towards the back part of the property there is a creek. I put in a French drain that runs from one of the springs to the creek which helps a lot with drainage.
...anyway, I usually cut the lowlands about every two weeks and the yard usually once a week. I have mowed each of the areas once so far.

Social distancing/working from home means I've got a great-looking yard right now. That's pretty much the highlight of my week. And yes, I feel sorry for me, too.
There are so many people out wandering around aimlessly in my neighborhood all the time I can barely cut my grass without bumping into a few of them.
6 days?

1 more and you will have a set.
There was a 79 mph wind gust in Pike county on Sunday.
Hunker down in a holler.

Seems like we get on a roll here and run off a few posts. Wonder why that is.
Mine is not to wonder why, it’s to be the one that has the last post...

Something weird has happened to my Jack Johnson Pandora channel*. Somehow my Temptations Pandora channel has invaded. Here are the last 5 played on the Jack Johnson channel:
--Sir Duke, Stevie Wonder
--Shining Star, The Manhattans
--Hold On, I'm Comin', Sam and Dave
--Higher and Higher, Jackie Wilson
--The Tracks of My Tears, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
*--Hey, sometimes I'm in the mood for folkie surfer hippie music. Sue me.
My B-52s channel somehow got on a Zepplin kick. Had to downvote to get it off. I love Zepplin, but not on that channel. That did fix it.
2nd round of grass cutting, time to fire up the weed eater and get the first trim of the season taken care of.

Probably will mow this weekend.
Probably will fill in some mud holes this weekend
Could it get warm and stay that way, please?
(Nobody quote this post in July when it's 146 degrees outside.)
I got the lowlands cut, other than it still being pretty wet, it looks fairly nice.

Rain is forecast beginning Wednesday evening and that means yard gets mowed Wednesday afternoon. Ground should be dry enough by then.
Dang, I am up to six mowings already and I will probably mow again, Wednesday.
I'm going to get a goat. Preferably a wet weather goat.
I got the grass cut and broke out the weed eater for the first time this season. I imagine tomorrow I’ll be getting a call from Brad Owen wanting to get a few tips from me.
