Yep, tech support for large machines in the automotive industry.
Normally, I have a voice like a foghorn, but it is reduced to a whisper.
I think it is caused by PND. Even when I cough I sound like I am whispering; no vocal tone at all.
Of course my friends at work are having a field day with this. You want to work for me this afternoon or weekend; if you object just speak up! Want to do my service call entry? If not just say so...
But one day soon it will reappear and Lord, help them...;)

Sorry, Darrell. I don't have insomnia like you and others, but I'm finding it's hard to sleep past 5:30 or so. Thinking about trying melatonin.
I was told melatonin is produced naturally in your body, and if you take melatonin supplements it “could” inhibit your body’s ability to produce it naturally causing adverse affects after prolonged use.Quote:

Actually, my insomnia has mostly gotten better to the point where it's similar to that. I'd rather sleep longer, but if I can sleep 5-6 hours mostly uninterrupted (I'm waking up, but going back to sleep, which has not been common for me), I'll be mostly content.Quote:

I usually can go to sleep easily--it's having the discipline to actually try to sleep and not watch 1 more show, mess around with my phone, etc. As with most things worthwhile in life, having the discipline to do it regularly is key.

58 and mostly cloudy now on Christmas in Louisville. I’d be okay with 58 and mostly cloudy pretty much every day.
December has flown by, hard to believe Christmas Eve is the day after tomorrow.

An underrated show I really enjoyed. Hasn't been on TV for awhile due to rights issues with the music, same as WKRP and Northern Exposure.
That is a shame. It ran after I quit watching regular TV and dedicated my watching time to sports. I learned a lot about water polo, lacrosse, and curling back in those days.
