Good weekend. Watched the Citadel beat Mercer in person and the Cats lay the rain soaked wood to Mizzou. Spent the days with my daughter in charleston. A very good weekend :)

As soon as I started drinking green tea, I find that I don't like my black coffee as much. The taste seems changed. Weird?

I think Lexington is now doing it at 3pm on Saturday. How very "blue state" of them. Nice and safe. Also a complete extraction of the fun and energy and point of the whole thing, but it's somehow safer and more secure so it must be better.

But our mayor said she erred on "the side of caution". Great but not much fun. And certainly not the point of Halloween or the trick or treat tradition.
We had a grand total of 2.

I've entered the stage of Christmas preparations where the Christmas songs are basically trolling me. "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" takes on a different feeling when you're 2 weeks out and have virtually all presents to buy, stuff to cook, etc.
