Bad, bad, bad.
I did not expect us to play like we did Saturday, but I also did not expect a total reversion into complete ineptitude.

All we have to do is get to 71

The announcer wants to blame this travesty on Ben Jordan’s death. There are only a couple of the guys that even played with him. And even then that is just wrong. What was the excuse for the other games we played like this? And are we going to credit the riots on Saturday for the Florida performance? Just stop.

I don’t think we will get to 50 at this rate

@HoopsInsight: Turnovers on 30% of your possessions and shooting 11-31 on twos? Yeah, Kentucky’s problems are back.
@HoopsInsight: Kentucky is also learning that they have 2 good healthy on-ball defenders (and maybe 1 injured) and a whole lotta sieves there. Alabama just prodding at the weak links. Very NBA-style approach by Nate Oats, he’s a good coach!

Re: Kentucky v Alabama Game Discussion
Cal has completely lost them this time. It's not a step back it is an implosion.
And i don't blame him. it's on the young men because the Florida game proved Cal has a solid game plan for them.
Whatever the problem is, its all on the players.
I feel sorry for them.

Sad thing is I think we've been given 40% more breaks than Alabama in the officiating Department.

There is someone missing from this Chat tonight....Bet I know where we can find him. LOL.

You know it's bad when the refs feel sorry for a UK team. :)

Alabama looks like they are coached by an NBA coach.

You could cut and paste that a dozen times today. More than that.

Re: Kentucky v Alabama Game Discussion
Unless this Kentucky team wins the SECT, their chances of getting an invitation to the NCAAT are slim.

We are rebuilding. When these players are two or three years older, we'll be really good.

@ChrisFisher247: Kentucky starters Davion Mintz (2-10), BJ Boston (2-7), and Olivier Sarr (1-4) are a combined 5 of 21.

@vaughtsviews: UK has 17 turnovers, 7 assists. 21 of 55 from field, 4 of 15 from 3. Given up 26 points off turnovers

And three of their starters are out on a team that’s not very deep.

They look good. In the way I was certain they would. I assumed we had the inside game in our pocket as big as we are.. But Sarr, Jackson, Toppin all three have no idea how to defend someone. Jackson can block a shot, but if footwork is involved they are just real bad.
As far as quickness goes, bama is quicker to a man. And almost every man is quicker than our quickest players.

Well, after margaritas the last three games I will be drinking vodka, beer, water, coffee, tea or anything else next time. The margaritas ran out of luck.

@HoopsInsight: Wow, if ESPN’s shot chart is right these teams have combined for just 3 midrange shots, all by UK.
Kentucky’s offensive style isn’t the problem tonight, unless you count turnovers as style

We're just running out of time.

Honestly, I thought before tonight's game the only chance for us to make the NCAA is to with the SEC tournament. Certainly the case now.

Our players have so little Court vision.
