Rice ball pickled plum (and bento flakes), chicken meatballs, seasoned eggs, soy sauce ice cream wrapped in rice cake. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...27a5518152.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b5e961a096.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6a7c5f7153.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...521843c56a.jpg
Soy sauce ice cream????
What are the odds that I planned to meet a Kentucky friend in Tokyo, and he turns out to be only the 2nd UK fan I met that day?
Pretty damn good.
Met a nice lady from Lexington while we were on a Mt. Fuji tour today, then met the great long time member ribbonfish tonight in Tokyo.
UK fans are everywhere. Everywhere.
Thanks so much, it was truly an honor and an enjoyable visit. I hope we get a chance to catch up again if you visit the States sometime soon!

I have had 3 out of the last 4 nights with a sleep rating of "good" according to Garmin.
My "good" sleep nights in the past six weeks:
May 4
May 17
May 27
June 14
June 15
June 17
After I got back from Japan, my sleep was all screwed up, but it started getting better after 2 weeks, which was June 12. I just found I was exhausted and would go to bed at 10 or 10:30. My average "go to sleep" time is 12:36 a.m. this year, so that's 2 to 2.5 hours earlier than normal.
Seems to have done wonders to have reset my circadian clock or something. Hope to keep it going; I feel better than I've felt in a long time.
I haven’t been on the insomnia board in a while, but I’ve been averaging about 61/2 hours/night, which is way better than it had been.
Having said that, I still seem overly tired by the end of my work day…my job is not physical but I do move a lot (8k-10k steps) through out the day. I’m getting old I suppose.

Add a 4th "good" sleep last night in the last 5 days. I don't know what's going on, but I'm thrilled with it.
5th good night of sleep in last 6 days.
7 hrs, 2 minutes, but it also evaluates it based on deep sleep, REM, etc.
Didn't have an appointment this morning until 10, started to go back to sleep (went to bed early so woke up early) but decided to keep the status quo.
…and just like that, the last two nights I slept poorly averaging just under 6 hours.

6th out of 7.
7 hrs, 1 minute, but also good sleep.
I'm really scared. I haven't had that many good nights of sleep in 3 months.
I’ve been writing a book about avalanches but I keep getting bogged down with run-on sentences. It’s like they have a snowball effect.
