So this guy was breaking into houses and stealing underwear. That’s it, just underwear.
Luckily someone’s camera caught him on video and he confessed to the brief crime spree.

Is this the way that Citizen would conduct a hearing?

lol, Pretty solid chant, esp. since he doesn't use it every day.
Good basic southern chant, with just the right twang but still very clear.
It's going the way of the dodo b/c so much is online. Not a lot of old school auctions out there these days. Tobacco is gone, classic cars and cattle auctions still operate, but the estate work is going to computer run online auctions.
I do still call our virtual event with audio over the internet. Mine's more mid-western and rust belt sounding, but I did speech work at Northwestern and that's why, not that anyone asked. :)
I really enjoyed that, thanks. Great way to talk over someone on a mic. lol.
I made some trail mix with no raisins or m&m’s. My wife laughed and said “That’s just nuts.”
I once lost a spelling bee on the word phonetic.
I started it with an f.
When does a joke become a dad joke?
When it becomes apparent.

Brother Boss,
Even Grammy says that is bad.:sign0157:
You guys aren't running me off this thread, no mater how hard you try, and boy you are trying hard.
My wife hadn’t driven a manual in years and couldn’t find reverse so I showed her the little letters on the stick shift.
She said Oh, now I have a backup plan.
I saw my doppelgänger today. I couldn’t believe it; it was like someone had cloned me. He walked right up and stood next to me at the bus stop.
I was beside myself.
Where do cow farts come from?
The Dairy air.
A rare worn down pencil belonging to William Shakespeare has been found. Experts are uncertain if the pencil is 2B or not 2B.

I went to a bar last night and every time I ordered a drink the server asked to see my ID. Every time.
I found out later it was called the Cardigan.
Break in the action, any hurricane updates? I hope everyone is safe. My grandson is in Port Richey, FL. I worry.

Looks like it jigged a bit toward Port Richey, Blueboss, but hopefully not the very worst of it. They all prepare well for these things, so I'm sure they'll be OK, but I'll say a little prayer for them anyway!
Here's radar from Port Richey. Brother in law and nephew and their families live in Tampa, and said windy, rain, but they still had power. Attachment 10935
Thank you!! I love me some Cartwright family prayers… they just checked in with me. So far so good, they’re on the backside now and still have power. They’re getting better at these things.. for me and my experience when I lived down there was always the aftermath, and not the storm itself. I did see a stop sign, pole and all fly down my street during David back in the day.

Not to minimize the power of this storm, but the weather channel is just short of using “biblical devastation” in their reporting.

Now I’m worried about the backside surge…

Helene is moving along pretty quickly, dumping heavy rain all along the way. Up here in the Lou area we’ll likely get a couple of inches by the time it fizzles out.
Hope everyone one is safe, and avoids property damage as it tracks north.

Brother-in-law in Tampa had some of his neighbor's tree limbs and such blown into his yard. Said he picked up two big bags of it this morning. Other than that, no issues. Did not lose power.
I know not everyone is that fortunate, and I've already heard 8 died, millions without power, and immense damage in Taylor County, and it could have been worse but for the fact the eye made landfall in a sparsely populated area.
So far Tampa sounds better off than Lexington. All we are getting is some wind and steady rain and yet we're losing power, lights out, trees down, etc. Not a disaster by any means, but more than I might expect from rain and some gusty but hardly tornado type winds.
My grandson and his mother in Port Richey had some flooding. Not horrible but still a nuisance..7” through out. They also list power.

2” since midnight in Louisville with another 1 1/2 to 2” forecast before it quits tomorrow night. We’ve been pretty lucky though.
…and the clean up begins. At least they’re safe.

My wife said it hurt my daughter’s feelings that every time she practiced piano I would turn away.
She was right. It was time I faced the music.
I’m terrified of elevators, and I’m taking steps to avoid them

I was frying some Canadian bacon this morning and it kept curling in the pan.
So I took away the little brooms.
Here’s another classic from my grandson…
Grandson:
Papaw, what do you call an alligator with a GPS?
Me: I give up.
Grandson:
A navigator!!
