He came over to celebrate his younger brother's birthday. His mom was working in the kitchen, and I was about to start. He asked if he could help her, she said no, and I said I could use a little help. He asked how, and I asked him if he wanted to grill. He loves it, and he does it better than I do. I enjoy it, but I get more enjoyment out of his enjoyment, you know? I'll get it next time.Quote:

It’s Armageddon out there. Had to go to Kroger, which was bad enough, but then got it in my head to pick up a bottle of my favorite tequila while I was out (Manik anejo). The only liquor store close that had it is in the Paddock Shops, normally a quiet little outdoor mall. Not today. Don’t these people have to work?

2½ hours from tee time, weather seems to be holding out OK. Fingers crossed... Also fingers crossed for me playing with a torn rotator cuff.

We had a great time, not a drop of rain. Only played 9 holes, finished in 95 minutes, so we were playing quickly, if not great. Weather was just a tad north of us.Quote:

We had the perfect snow, just enough to cover the ground making for beautiful landscapes as pictured above, without all the drama of dangerous road conditions, or shoveling sidewalks and driveways.

We have a slight chance of snow Sunday night or Monday morning. We are out of milk and bread but I told my wife just to wait until Tuesday.
