Spiro Agnew Watch!
No it is not a YachtZee. It is what I think of everytime I read the threads titles. I had it for years but sometime in the 1980s before I settled down it went missing. The hands went backward and the numbers were backward too.
But it's a legit discussion as well as a joke. What political memorabilia (and yes I looked up the spelling, easier than tschotsche) do you all have? I have a Nixon candle, Nixon buttons, Nixon matches and a really nice Nixon trash bag. Also a George Wallace button. And my own stuff of course. All legit to the era. "Nixon Now More than Ever!" is one I break out pretty often because, well, there have been some administrations making me think the most liberal President of the 20th century might do some good right now.
I shook Nixon's hand in downtown Louisville in I think 1970 after the famous baseball all star game in Cincinnati.
Anyway, you got any good political stuff? Phyllis George signed underwear? Turtle Tee shirts?

Re: Spiro Agnew Watch!
1860 Lincoln and Hamlin ferrotype from 1860.the Hamlin side is in rough shape, but the Lincoln side is excellent. It looks like this but in lesser shape https://www.loriferber.com/amp/linco...xoCsoIQAvD_BwE
I have a book that published the 1858 Douglas debates.i forget if it was published in 18t9 or 1859 but it is a period piece. I have another period book of one of his funeral obsequies.
I have other old Lincoln books and some busts as well. Some early 1900s postcards of Lincoln and of Decoration Day scenes. That may not be political, but there are some neat scenes, certainly more “serious” than some of the lip service given to Memorial Day today.
I might have a 1909 Lincoln penny and an old piece of paper money with him on it too.
I have a George McClellan for President token from 1864 and a Jefferson Davis postage stamp which I think is from a few years after the war.
Somewhere is a paper ballot (Republican ticket) from one of Lincoln’s elections. It was ftom Ohio but I forget if it is 1860 or 64. I might still have a California one too
‘I wish I was still collecting stuff.
Not the most diverse collection, LOL
My grandpa went to Reagan’s inauguration in 1981. I think there is still a souvenir pennant around here somewhere.
