They are only Allies to use our defense spending so they can allocate their own budgets to social programs and globalism.
Trump is DEAD ON talking about leaving Nato. I hate it, but they are not the countries they used to be. They have a very different political perspective that no longer honors individual rights over collectivism.
Some of the eastern european countries, having lived under the communists, seem to be stronger philosophical allies now. Let's face it; nobody is really a friend if we have to buy their friendship.
