Here's what Florida offensive lineman Jon Halapio had to say about former UK coach Joker Phillips, the receivers coach at Florida now:
"He has been a real good addition. I am not used to seeing that intensity, aggressiveness out of the wide receivers. It was an eye-opening experience for me as an offensive lineman. His whole idea is if you can catch the ball, you can block, too. He's very intense. Just having a coach like that is really a good addition for our team."
Here's what he had to say about the lopsided loss to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl to end last season:
"We didn't show up. We weren't together. That's one thing we are working on for this year. The loss to Louisville motivates us daily. Getting flashbacks of that loss is horrible. You don't want to feel that way again."
Any chance the Gators could take UK lightly?
"We've just got to treat everybody equal. We ain't taking anybody lightly where it is Kentucky or anybody else. Louisville taught us what happens when you don't show up."
