Shane Beamer has reved up some enthusiasm in the Carolia fanbase and expect the see them go back to Columbia with a win under theri belt. Based on how many of the games have been played thus far in the SEC, it is possible they could make it happen if the Cats don't clean up some things.

He was ask about the play of D'Eryk Jackson. "He might have bee a bit nervous play in a big game in that environment but he's played in a lot of big games,"
Brad White said. He's playerd solid. He has a couple run fit situatiobs but he knows what to do."

White said he feels like he saying the same every game. he talked abot how dynamic South Carolina's running backs are. He said their quarterback does a nice job when h moves out of the pocket and can make some nice throws. They have a couple of nice wideouts. They've got thirteen catches apiece. Asked about the play of Jordan Lovett in the absence of injured Jalen Geiger? "He's been solid," White said. "I thought that hit on the first play of the second drive and hit Judkins, that's a grown man's hit. He's had some really nice plays fitting the box like that. He did the same thing against NIU a couple times. He's just got to bank those reps and as long as he stays confident, I'm confedent in him."

White said justin Rogers had his best game since he's been here.

Mike Stoops was asked about the play of D'Eryl Jackson since he has to fill the shoes of injured Jacquez Jones. "D'Erk (Jeckson) is a fabulous player and faboulous guy," Mike Stoops said. We have been rotating him just for moments like this. We didn't miss a beat and we don't feel like we are going to have to change anything. We'll be without Jacquez for aan extended period of time and it's great to have a guy kike him ready to go. He has great instincts. He a true middle backer and I'm excited to see what he can do."

He sid he lkes what Trevin Wallace can do and will be asked to play both the Wlii or the Mike. "He has that ability to fit in at either the Mike or the Will linebacker positions," Coach Mike Stooops said.
