Interestingly, there's a 3-way tie for the final spot in the SEC tournament. Should keep things interesting. I'd like to think that Kentucky is "safely" in, but we're not, although we're close. We have a 5-game lead with 3 weekends to play, and you'd like to think we could hold onto that, but if ANY of the 3 teams with 5 wins gets hot, and we fold, we could lose it.

And of course, we're chasing a 14-16 or 15-15 SEC record for more than just making the SEC tournament. Either of those likely puts us in the NCAA tournament, which is the big prize. We get a little surprise pitching, and anything can happen in a Regional, and heck, even in a Super Regional. We'd be laughed out of a CWS, but let's try to play as long as possible.

As a reminder--the next two weekends are key--both are at Kentucky Proud Park. Kentucky hosts Florida, then hosts South Carolina before ending the conference schedule in Nashville against Vanderbilt. We can win both of the next two series, and we really need to do so.
