• On Saturday the Wildcats will be playing the Tennessee Volunteers to stay in contention for a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
• Three seed is far less desirable because of the third seeds play at nine-thirty at night.
• The Vol’s challenging remaining schedule will test them to see if they can hold on to their #1 seed.
• High ranked team are usually high ranked because they 1) have good talent; 2) they play with good fundamentals; and 3) they have good coaching.
• In NCAA tournament, as of late it has come down to match up’s. For all that is at stake, Saturday’s game feels like a NCAA Tournament game.
• In terms of matchups Kentucky matches up better with Tennessee than they did with LSU because the Tigers were long up front and quick in the backcourt. Extremely quick hands.
• Kentucky’s PJ Washington has developed in a reliable stretch four that’s physical – Calipari has said more than once that UK will not go deep into the tournament Nick Richards.
