    SEC Freshman of the Week – Kentucky guard Tyler Herro, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound freshman from Milwaukee, Wisc., averaged 16 points, five rebounds and four assists in wins at Georgia and at No 14 Auburn. He had a team-high-tying 20 points against the Tigers, including 15 points in the second half. Herro’s two free throws to lift UK to an 81-80 lead with 25 seconds to play as the Wildcats picked up their first road victory over a top-15 team in the SEC since March 1, 2006. He had an all-around effort against Georgia with 12 points, a team-high-tying seven rebounds and a team-high-tying four assists.

      This is the 5th time in the last six weeks a UK freshman is the SEC freshman of the week.
