One key I don't hear many talking about this year is hopeful improvement from our punter. Grant McKinniss came in with some strong accolades. While his 39.2 yard average didn't knock our socks off, he was a 4* player, # 4 Punter in the nation out of high school, and he has potential. Strong leg. Chose Kentucky over Clemson, Penn State, Purdue and Michigan State, among others.
He needs to get MUCH better. He was disastrously bad last year.
At this latest camp a high school coach from Florida who has been to all tge SEC schools and all around the country with his kids said that the best two practice facilities he had seen we're Southern Cals and UKs.
And yes, he had been to OSU and Bama.
It might not have some if the goofy stuff like Oregon's but for functionality it seems to be absolutely top of the line.
