LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the Kentucky football team in the midst of a productive spring, UK Athletics announced the promotional schedule for the Wildcats’ attractive 2017 home slate in Commonwealth Stadium on Wednesday.

Kentucky will open its home schedule vs. Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 9 with Heroes’ Day. The annual Heroes’ Day event honors all active and reserve members of the armed forces along with police, firefighters and first responders. Ticket information for Heroes’ Day will be announced in the weeks leading up to the game.

When the Wildcats host Florida on Sept. 23, UK Athletics will welcome a new class of Hall of Famers as part of Hall of Fame Weekend. The new Hall of Famers will be recognized on the field during the game vs. the Gators.

The following Saturday when the Wildcats face Eastern Michigan, UK Athletics will host high school bands from across the state of Kentucky as part of Band Day.

UK will cap a three-game home stand on Oct. 7 by hosting Missouri for Homecoming. Once again, Ag Roundup and Family Weekend will coincide with Homecoming.

When the Wildcats host Ole Miss on Nov. 4, UK Athletics will pay special tribute to veterans with its first annual Salute to Veterans. Additionally, it will be Youth Football Day at Commonwealth Stadium, as special ticket offers will be extended to youth football league participants and their parents. A select few youth football teams will also play on the field during the halftime break.

UK will conclude its home schedule on Nov. 25 vs. Louisville by honoring players suiting up for the final time at home as part of Senior Day.

Commonwealth Stadium will play host to a number of marquee matchups for Kentucky, which is coming off an appearance in the TaxSlayer Bowl. UK will take on rivals Louisville and Tennessee at home, both of which were ranked at the end of last season, as well as Florida and Southeastern Conference Western Division opponent Ole Miss.

Season tickets for the 2017 season are on sale now at UKFootballTix.com, both for renewing season ticket holders and those purchasing new season tickets. Single-game tickets will go on sale later this summer.
