Friday night, on the eve of Halloween, all the college students went to a party. This wasn’t just any kind of party, but one that some of us will never forget. CSF, Christian Student Fellowship, hosts parties multiple times a year, which always involve an evening filled with community, fun, food, and non-alcoholic drinks. This time, we had a special guest attend our party. After an hour of singing and dancing, the music stopped and it was announced that a celebrity guest would soon be stopping by. While shouts of names reeled from the crowd, us SEC Nation fans already knew. A few moments later, in walked Billy Ray Cyrus (well, he didn’t know what he was, that’s what all of us decided.) He didn’t pose for many pictures, and he didn’t say much, but one thing is for sure- every student in that room was happy to be there and excited to see a man who is a true role model in both his career and in his faith. Thank you to Tim Tebow for taking the time to come see us Friday night, and for continuing to be an inspiration to so many of us.
