Neal Brown that todays practice was more like what he is looking for in terms of tempo. And he feels like they just need to sharpen up.
1) As for as his quarterbacks the things he is looking for from them:
a - the quarterback who can best manage the game;
b - the quarterback who makes the best decisions;
c - the quarterback who makes them go especially on third down.
d - and who has the best accuracy
e - who can manage the tempo and there's a lot of things that go into that.
2) Brown said he threw the ball today than in any other scrimmage to put pressure on the quarterbacks.
3) Once again Rashad Cunningham got a mention today; Dorian Baker, Ryan Timmons, and Cameron Fogle also got mentions for todays scrimmage.
4) Brown said that Ronnie Shields and Stephen Borden represented the tight ends well by each catching a touchdown pass apiece.
5) Stoops said he thought they were better in predictable pass situations.
6) He said he thought they played cleaner; better communication, less penalties.
7) Stoops said they will get in there and evaluate this film.
8) Brown said the Kyle Meadows is much further along than he expected
9) After that if they feel like they are ready to make a decision on the quarterback they will but they are not going to be rushed.
9) D.J. Eliot said Firrios is fast and going to be a very good football player.
10) Neal Brown said he might have to keep his sun glasses on for my bright colorful outfit.
