If you're from Duke University, what's the natural thought here?

What do you think of when you think of Duke University? Soft and squishy?

Apparently ex-Duke star Brian Zoubek agrees, as he has apparently eschewed one thought (cupcake sales) for another, creampuffs.

"You've seen the cupcake niche," he said in an interview with the News & Observer continuing, "but no one was doing cream puffs well."

UK fans have long since suspected that certain media (see, e.g., Goodman, Jeff) and the NCAA have been "out to get them."

Critics have suggested that it's ill-founded paranoia at best. Other media members support those criticizing Kentucky in the name of so-called "objectivity" and the like.

Except....they don't seem to be so objective.

The Wildcats begin the 2012 campaign slated as the No. 13 team in the nation it was announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association Monday. The preseason mark ties a program-best with the 1983 team also achieving a No. 13 ranking. Furthermore, UK is the highest ranked Southeastern Conference team.

As akaukswoosh pointed out, he conveniently seemed to run "anonymous poll" stories last week which detracted attention away from North Carolina. He also tweeted that he was hearing from "sources" that Kentucky had been integral in talking with Trey Lyles, who had decommitted from Indiana, before he decommitted, implying a tampering kind of thing. He buffered that by including Syracuse.
