let's go someplace like Bolivia.

Now here's an old school justice system. Man rapes and murders a woman, villagers seize the man, block the roads from authorities, tie him up at her funeral, then throw him in alive to the grave and put her coffin on top and bury it.

They jumped the gun since he hadn't been tried or convicted yet, but I have to say it's a unique punishment which I can't help but admire for it's colorfulness.

I am gonna say are you out of your mind?

There are places, but that ain't one of them. They have not moved that far beyond shrinking heads for the tourists.

Based on that story id say you're right. Thats old school, and the As article says lynchings arent unheard of. Sounds like it hasnt changed much since butch and Sundance.

Might want to scratch New Guinea off your list as well (http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/06/10/brutal-papua-new-guinea-witch-hunts-mask-jealousy-in-nation-with-deep-belief-in/?test=latestnews)

"A witch, a witch!"

"How do you know she's a witch?"

"She turned me into a newt!"

"I got better".

In this case maybe "because when she's dead I get her stuff."
