The bill will fail so IMO ending fillibuster is no big deal. End it, vote no, and its over.

Not sure it will fail, at least the Senate. The assault weapons part will, but this is basically for background checks.

I'm glad our two Senators were leading the charge to stop the bill, by whatever means necessary. Some other Senators need to hear it from their constituents.

"Because the background-check measure is the centerpiece of this legislation it is critical that we know what is in the bill before we vote on it," Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Ted Cruz, R-Texas; and Mike Lee, R-Utah, said in a statement. "The American people expect more and deserve better."

What unique thought.

Now wait a minute........don't they have to pass the bill before we find out what's in the bill? Isn't that how it's done? Maybe we need Nancy to clarify that for us.

Proud of Senator Paul and also Ted Cruz from Texas. Two younger guys who aren't afraid of the elites in both parties.
