The best part is it gets canceled as soon as it goes public. You know it's a BS deal when it goes scurrying that fast when you turn on the kitchen lights. What the heck is DHS / Border patrol doing with a band?

It's gone from Drudge now but was up all day yesterday and this morning they linked the cancelled order.

Maybe border patrol was going to use them to scare away illegal immigrants. The horrid screeching made by bagpipes is enough to scare anything or anybody with ears away.

The drones will probably work better, but by that standard they are a big cost savings. :)

suncat -- can't help it, that thought jumped in my head as well. No doubt this was someone in the border patrol who wanted to have a band of some kind, complete with Scotch Guard pipes and drums, and was going to spend DHS money they found somewhere to get it.
