Best news I've heard in some time. With AP, KW and WCS joining this incoming group.... WOW!

Thank the Lord.

I think he's here for three years, and a bona-fide All American as a junior.

Seth Davis: Much...but only if he gets tougher RT @HolyTweed: with Poythress deciding to return to UK, how much better did their title chances get?

Alex Poythress is the type of kid who needs 3-4 years in the college ranks. Commend him for seeing the big picture and not rushing to NBA.

Consider for a moment: even if Wiltjer and Poythress make no progress, then UK has two McD's All-Americans as its No. 8, No. 9 guys.

Per Adam Zagoria:

Alex Poythress was projected as the No. 16 pick by @DraftExpress but an NBA scout told @SNYtv he should return to campus. Now he will.

Yep. Great decision for him IMO. Very happy for him and the team, but believe it or not largely for him. He has things yet to learn, and I trust Cal to teach them more than a pro franchise. He's a tremendous young man with a bright future.

Great news! I believed in Poythress from the start and stuck with him all year as evident in my KSR game picks. While this is good news for us and the team it's better news for him and his future.

Great news. Love his skillset and look forward to watching him develop the motor he needs to really exploit that.

Hope UL enjoys borrowing our trophy for a year, because I think we may not give it up for a couple of years.

Great news.....LV has given us some excellent insights all the way back to Wendy's....dare we say we have a beast student athlete in the making?

Me, or the players?

I walked 3.0 miles tonight while tweeting (during son's soccer practice). I did my part!

I a glad he made the choice best for him..guess he wasn't afraid of competition and wants a ring. Seems at least one here was very wrong in his prediction to make it look like he knew

Great young man, good student, we will see the player we saw in the duke game

Yes he has things to learn, but more than anything he needs to play like he started out, he could shock the world next year.

Sounds like he's ready to embrace the challenge. Being around kids like the Harrisons can only do him good.

Love all the things he's saying about competing and winning. If he commits himself, we could have MKG 2.0

It amazes me to think of how good this team can be. The skill is there at every position and we have back-ups for every position that we can put in and not lose very much. This should be like 96, only better. This team is way more athletic as a whole than the 96 team IMO. I the chemistry is there, we will hang no. 9 next year.

This is very good news for Kentucky. This is very bad news for everyone that has to play Kentucky next season. So, overall, this is very good news!

There's some much needed leadership and experience for next year. I can't express enough how big this is along with WCS, Wiltjer, and Hood Along with Polson this group of young men staying means our experience level meets or exceeds last years and depth of talent is instantly our strength
