They are still thinking it's a high ankle sprain.

I hate those...can be chronic and nagging all year if you don't let it rehabilitate. Maybe it's less than that.

we have depth at safety to absorb his injury. lowry, benton, dixon and tyler is not a bad rotation. plus the freshman we brought in.

The depth is there, but I sure hope the injury does not keep him on the sidelines for an extended period.

Hopefully he'll rest it and be ready to go in a couple of months. Doubt he'll see the first couple of games of the season.

Didn't Trevard Lindley have one of these that pretty much ruined half of his senior season?

Still hearing high ankle sprain, but didn't hear MRI results yet.

Zach Myers also with a high ankle sprain, too, and in a boot.

Basically a couple of weeks off, and take care of it, and I guess it should be ok. I'm just wary of those.

Upon studying the MRI it was discovered that Faulkner had suffered some seperation of the ligament from the bone and surgery is necessary to insert a screw. He is expected to be out six to eight weeks.

Thanks Lonny!!

That is not what I hoped for but it could have been a lot worse. Hope it heals well and the recovery is for a back to normal movement.
