He tweeted a couple hours ago that if Kentucky gets in the NIT they would have to play on the road the first couple rounds if they were the higher seed cause of Rupp hosting the NCAAT and then something happening with Memorial, couldnt get an answer as to why, has anyone here heard anything about this?

I believe the reason is that everyone to staff the arena would be working at Rupp for the NCAAs and nobody would be left to staff Memorial.

That doesn't make any sense though, the games aren't being played on the same day, the NIT doesn't try to compete with ratings with the NCAAT
