A neighbor had given me a bottle of Tuaca awhile back, and tonight's UK-UGa game drove me to experimentation. I'd never opened it because I didn't have the slightest idea what to do with it except to maybe sip a little on ice, but that's what Elijah Craig is for. After just a little bit of trial and error, I found a very nice combination:
4 parts dry gin (I prefer Bombay.)
4 parts Tuaca (now made by Brown-Forman in Louisville; formerly an Italian liqueur made from brandy)
1 part bitters (I used Angostura. It might be better with Campari, maybe not. I was out.)
I'm thinking of calling it the 'Britalian'. I recommend 2 shots of Bombay, 2 shots of Tuaca, a half shot of bitters, and about 4 ice cubes swirled in a highball glass. Make sure you're sitting down. :party0035:
