Now dishwashers are in their sights. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4QAkNa-D10)

It has been shown that washing dishes in a dish washer uses less water than is used in handwashing the same number of dishes in a sink.

Do a deal with Hunter Biden. They're rolling in money. ;)

I would get some of these pushes if they actually made environmental sense, but they don't. it would be funny if it wasn't so sad. The level of strip mining required to extract enough rare earth elements to build a battery based society is going to lay waste to an area the size of Australia, which doesn't even get into how you power your electric grid to charge those batteries when you have to rely on solar panels that hail can destroy or wind that is a thousand miles from the the plug for the battery. Don't even start on what to do when the batteries do age out and have to be disposed of, or the worthless car husks with them.

And the latest Biden intrusion on your right to freely purchase what you want to is..............................

LIGHT BULBS (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-begins-enforcing-nationwide-light-bulb-bans-backlash-gop)

I typed that in all caps and made it bold so it would be easier to see in the semi darkness.

I intend to shop for a summer cabin in Nova Scotia, along with enough firewood to keep it toasty warm at night and for cooking.

Sniffing Joe wants to cut off my cooling now. (https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/bidens-crackdown-another-appliance-worse-than-stoves)

I am also hoping they open up their southern border and offer free health care and lots of other free stuff to the illegals like me.

First of all, sloppy Joe and the DOE lied to the public (say it isn't so Martha). (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-quietly-revises-gas-stove-analysis-reduces-projected-benefits)

Now Congress is trying to tel the executive branch to stuff their proposed regulations (In June, the House overwhelmingly passed the Save Our Gas Stoves Act, which was introduced by Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., which would block the Department of Energy from implementing tougher conservation standards on stoves. Companion legislation co-led by Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., is making its way through the Senate.)

If you like gas stoves or crispy hot pizzas contact your senators.

Newsom will eventually force thee wine industry to prune the vines by hand and also harvest all grapes by hand instead of using mechanized machinery to do the job. Or well, maybe he can find enough extension cords to run the harvesters via electrons. It will definitely be back to stomping the grapes though.

I am surprised that that the white house grounds keepers have not been told to use goats to keep the grounds mowed.

Brandon and Secretary Granholm are now coming after your ceiling fans. However, to my relief, they did not mention anything about those nasty gasoline powered models.

The thing is, even the less efficient fans are still more efficient than AC by far, and belt driven fans that they are targeting are more efficient than direct drive fans, even if the motors are not the most efficient possible.

It astounds me how we got to the point where we think it's OK for the Federal government to have this level of invasiveness into our lives and our businesses.

It's all generated by politicians and bureaucrats who sit in fancy air conditioned offices and have never been on a shop or warehouse floor in their lives other than as part of some photo op tour group. Work in a warehouse with no AC for a week in the summer and come back and tell me how we need to crack down on fan motors.

Three houses over 35 years and all gas forced air furnaces keeping me warm at temps as low as -50F. A hot water/radiant floor heat would be great if I had a lot more money and a big one story rancher. Still likely gas fired boiler.

One duplex has gas fired boiler heat and the other has gas forced air. Probably 80% in Bozeman have natural gas heat. When electricity shot up in the 1980s electric baseboard became very unpopular.

When electricity shot up in the 1980s electric baseboard became very unpopular.

Around here, new chimneys and double wall vent pipe sprouted up like mushrooms after a spring rain. I invested in a chain saw a 2 wheel trailer, and a warm morning style stove and snipped the wires going to the baseboard heating units.
