Will be interesting how it it enforced. Had a lot of self centered “I advertise on tik tok” testimony against—echoing the democrat party “how do we reach the yuth of today without tik tok?”

Reducing advertising watching on TikTok, should reduce shoplifting by the under financed, underage influencer followers.

Yeah, because Tik Tok is the only website to advertise!

Montana passed the regulation turning off TikTok for the entire state as of Jan 1 2024. They expect legal challenges but are willing to fight for the right to outlaw the web service in the state for everyone, not just the state employee.

I have to believe ICC laws will come into play here. Not sure a state can "ban" a business unless the Feds agree.

Most states in the USA have banned, what "could" be considered legal houses of ill repute. Nothing the feds could do to override that action, or so I assume that to be the case.. Same thing with legal gambling establishments.

Already a lawsuit from “tik tok influencers”
