A look back at the last 10 Kentucky-Vanderbilt games:

January 10, 2013: Kentucky led by 11 at the half and by as many as 16 in the second half only to lose the lead. The Cats did rally, in somewhat controversial fashion, for a 60-58 victory. Kentucky turned it over 16 times, its highest total against Vanderbilt since the 2009-10 season.

March 11, 2012: After Kentucky went undefeated during the SEC regular-season, the Commodores upset the Cats 71-64 in the finals of the league tournament in New Orleans. Kentucky led 62-53 with 5:23 remaining, then did not score a field goal the rest of the way. The loss snapped a 24-game UK win streak. No big deal, though, as the Cats would not lose again on the path to an eighth NCAA title.

February 25, 2012: Down 37-36 at the half at Rupp Arena, Kentucky came on strong in the second half for an 83-74 victory. Anthony Davis scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the UK win. He was 10-of-11 from the floor and eight-of-nine from the three-throw line. Kentucky shot 57.1 percent in the win.

February 11, 2012: Doron Lamb scored 16 points as the Cats won 69-63 in Nashville. Kentucky led 36-23 at the half, but held off Kevin Stallings’ club to get the win. UK blocked 12 shots in the victory.

March 1, 2011: Kentucky held on for a 68-66 victory after being up 40-29 at the half. Brandon Knight led Kentucky with 17 points in the win. Vandy led 62-61 with 2:37 left, but Kentucky made seven of eight free throws down the stretch for the victory.

February 12, 2011: In a season in which John Calipari’s club lost six SEC road games, this was yet another tough, close loss on the road as Vanderbilt prevailed 81-77. Vanderbilt made 11 of 20 three-pointers to get the victory. Terrence Jones scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the losing effort.

February 20, 2010: Kentucky won a close one at Memorial Gym, escaping with a 58-56 victory to run its SEC mark to 11-1. DeMarcus Cousins did turn the ball over five times, but had 19 points as UK won a defensive struggle.

January 30, 2010: The Cats made 12 of 23 three-pointers on the way to an impressive 85-72 win at Rupp Arena. John Calipari’s club built a 15-point lead at halftime, up 49-34. DeMarcus Cousins produced a double-double with 21 points and 10 boards. Darnell Dodson made four three-pointers and Kentucky out rebounded the visitors by 19.

February 17, 2009: Billy Gillispie’s last trip to Memorial Gym — where Gillispie’s team lost by 41 the year before — was not to enjoyable. Vanderbilt won 77-64, turning a 30-30 halftime deadlock into a 13-point victory. Jodie Meeks scored 26 points in the loss, but hit just six of 21 shots.

January 10, 2009: Kentucky beat the Commodores 70-60 at Rupp in the SEC opener for both teams. Jodie Meeks led UK with 21 points. Ramon Harris had 12 points and seven rebounds.
