I think they are having Robin come out as bi. I haven't googled to verify.

In all fairness, that seemed kind of obvious from the start, but still. :)

Robin coming out as gay?? Isn't that like Liberace coming out as gay?

Narrator: Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Man 1: Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird.
Woman: It’s a plane
Man 2: It’s Superman!
Narrator: Yes, it’s Superman, strange visitor from another planet who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Superman, who can change the course of mighty rivers, bend steel in his bare hands. And who, disguised as Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never ending battle for truth, justice and the American way. And now another exciting episode in the adventures of Superman.

They’re going to have to change the intro.

Pretty much.

The comics have been woke for some time. They're trying in Marvel with the Captain Marvel movies to make that work, among a lot of other shifts, but the problem is the underlying comics did very poorly. Not b/c the lead character was a woman, but b/c the stories were written to send a message and not to entertain.

You read comics to explore fantasy and action, not feel like you're in a college gender studies class. So they didn't sell.

There is almost nothing I care less about than a person's sexual orientation. I just don't care so long as, straight or otherwise, you get a room and don't throw it in my face. But when they make the orientation the basis for characters and the point of stories then it won't work b/c you've lost the reason people read the story.

Well in school they teach that it’s ok or cool even, no wonder the world is confused!

Had to stop watching a few for this reason.
