I'm fine with that, but a lot of people may miss it.
Physical mail is just so behind the times for general communication. If it's not a delivery, it's almost useless these days.

It is funny b/c cutting service and raising prices simultaneously is a death blow to anyone but government, but I'm surprised it didn't end decades ago. Maybe I'm out of the loop but I see no real benefit for it. Almost nothing goes snail mail that is on such a tight time frame you need it on the weekend.
The postal unions will fight this tooth and nail. Thats what unions do. This is a money saving effort and really will have minimal effect on the average person however those who deliver mail on Sat will not go down without a fight.
