How ironic for MLB to recognize, honor, and memorialize the great Henry Aaron at the All-Star game……in Denver. Atlanta, which Aaron loved, had the all-star game jerked away because of politics. And who was hurt? The people in ATL, who Aaron loved and for whom Aaron did so much. And in the 8th inning the Republican Party paid for an advertisement by black Atlantans, who were economically hurt by the move. So many black people work in the hospitality industry that benefits greatly from these type large events. It’s another bad look for MLB. It’s all an effin shame.

Sports and politics do not mix nor should they.

I totally agree. I watch sports to get away from stuff, not have it shoved in my face.

Unfortunately every sporting event and star believes they must interject in politics.

Just another group of entitled girlfriend beaters and drinkers and partiers and the sooner the league fails the better.
