President Biden’s new executive order on climate change would basically let the government do virtually anything in any part of the economy or the financial markets, or labor markets, or agriculture — or anything — in the name of mitigating risk of climate changes.

It's absurd, but fortunately will be challenged in court so much I doubt they can do much with it. It's far beyond the scope of executive authority.

Of course it was Trump who was the wanna be dictator. Never mind that Obama and now Biden have made actual legislation all but pointless with their expansion of executive authority. Don't like the immigration laws? Just refuse to enforce them, and issue orders as such. Don't like the laws on clean water regulation? Just ignore them and re-define words however you want until you can regulate everything. Don't worry about democracy or the balance of powers.

The threat is never bombastic egomaniacs. The threat is the subtle shifts and changes that no one even reports on in the media. that's how liberty in this country is dying.
