View Full Version : I hope everyone will consider subscribing tomorrow when Premium is "live"

Thursday is "D" day, as the great Citizen will get behind his curtain, push the magic buttons, and the premium services portion of the board will go "live," meaning that only premium subscribers will have access to this board and premium content.

As he mentioned on the other thread, it will also include in the short weeks to come some very intriguing "extras" that we will be introducing quickly. While we're "Kentucky-centric" in our focus, we will be national in our scope of features and services, and concentrated on end-user experience. We decided when we started this to build a terrific staff, but the truth is we're community based at our core, and the experience of the members while visiting the Front page, the videos, photos, and message boards, continues to be the priority. Of course, we hope you enjoy the writing--and interaction--of Larry Vaught, Lonny Demaree, Tyler Adkins, Ashley Scoby, Erin Simon, and others as part of that great experience.

If you do not subscribe tomorrow, we will always have free board options, and some content will be available as well. We have a commitment for both free and premium subscribers, and will continue that commitment indefinitely. We tried hard to find a price point that would encourage even more people to support the site with premium subscriptions, but understand it won't be everybody--although we may not stop trying :).

Thanks again for all of the support. It has been fantastic.

Very good initial sign-up! Lot of folks signing up for annual subscriptions, too. Very nice.

Not much action over here in the cheap seats

It'll come, blueboss. Not our intent to abandon anybody. While there's some bill paying that's needed, there will always be free boards here, too. It isn't as rocking and rolling right now as the premium boards, but I heard today from a member who still thought "Kentucky Sports Report" was at Scout.com. He was very confused why numerous people weren't posting that he was used to seeing.

Sometimes it's hard to get the word out where we are, although if everyone used the short URL, www.ksr1.com, they'd be here now :).
