Following a court ruling that nullified huge fines for not using a non-existent biofuel in 2012 the EPA upped the ante for 2013. :Christz_pillepalle:

I say fine the companies. They are rich anyways, won't miss the money and are not paying their fair share anyway. Plus if the fines are taken and given as entitlements to the poor, it will boost the economy.

The EPA is the most out of control federal agency in Washington, and the most dangerous one to the health of the economy. They leave honest science at the front door when they go to work every day.

What do you expect from an agency that writes disposal rules that require treatment of broken fluorescent light bulbs that would require a hazmat team to clean up, and at the same time require said bulbs to be used in all homes.

OK, the liberal, tree hugging idiots have violated the right to privacy act (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/04/09/epa-acknowledges-giving-out-personal-info-in-request-that-included-data-on/?test=latestnews).

For those of us in the private sector, we realize the penalties and fines we could incur if we were to allow such private information to enter the public domain even if we did not openly distribute the information. These asshats did it with impunity and feel good about what they did.

My previous thoughts in this thread still stand, but now they are not only dangerous to the economic well being of the country and do not know good science from bad, they are invading our privacy and sharing it with others. This administration is abetting their illegal behavior and giving them power that the department was never legislated to have.

Well they will have their day in court even though they do to want it (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/21/study-backs-farmers-in-pollution-fight-with-epa/)

“The EPA seems to have believed if it withdrew the order against Ms. Alt, the court would dismiss her lawsuit,” said Stallman. “The tactic failed because the court recognized EPA wasn’t changing its underlying legal position, but just trying to avoid having to defend that position.”

lol. They're in trouble, and they know it. Reminds me of the NCAA. They use their intimidation tactics to scare people into line, but if it were to go to court they'd be eviscerated and they know it.

The EPA's influence has grown dramatically since the start of the Obama administration, with the agency imposing costly regulations on the states at a record pace, according to a newly released study.
