On that note:

Attack on Pearl Harbor 1941 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6cz9gtMTeI) which discuses the attack from a military science perspective.

Very interesting, I had never heard it broken down in hits and misses before. They truly did awaken a sleeping giant.

Not only did they wake the giant, they pissed him off too.

I love the full quote: "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve "

Glad you liked it, I have really enjoyed his stuff. IMHO he tells it in a unique perspective in that he tries to explain how the battles evolved and WHY decisions were made the way they were. This requires him telling the story in a unique manner which allows the audience to understand what information a side knew (or didn't know) when decisions were made. His three part series on the Battle of Midway is an absolute masterpiece.

Keep in mind, he is a hobbyist, not a professional historian, so he isn't perfect. That being said, within documentary, history, and military science circles he is heavily praised. His unique take (shown in this video) is roundly praised for introducing military science (and the associated thought processes) to the general public while still being entertaining.

Thank you for posting this Pedro. I watched and found it very interesting, especially his assessment of the bomb/torpedo hits & misses. And a very good insight into that day in our history.
