You guys want to try something different? How about for this week only you can "wager" up to 50 on one team if you want. So there's still a limit of 3 teams and 50 wagered but you can put it all on one if you want, or 40 on one and 10 on another, etc. in multiples of 10. Does that make sense? :D Just make sure to make clear if it's a double shock or triple shock or quadruple or quintuple.

Multiples of 10 please Boss. Maybe 30 on one and 20 on the other?

Done, ooops. Who ever thought all that learning to read stuff would pay off ?

Now see, that’s why Jeremy Pruitt keeps asking if that makes sense?

So far our most heavily wagered teams are Virginia and Iowa State, with 60 on each. I thought the line on Iowa St./WVU should be a bit lower than 7 (and it’s currently at 5) and I think Boston College upsets Virginia. Hope you guys are right though since I have no skin on either one.

Others with more than 10 are Washington, Colorado, and Missouri, all with 30, and 20 on Florida.

Missouri... Ugh.

That was bad. 1/2 point.

What I enjoy about these game contest you run is that it gives me rooting interest in games I would otherwise not really pay attention to. I was watching that game in the fourth quarter, with Missouri down by seven. Rooted them on to a Tang touchdown, and then a go-ahead touchdown. I was thinking that there were two ways that I could win, either in regulation or in overtime if Arkansas tied it. Did not perceive the possibility of losing in overtime.

When Arkansas scored very late, and lined up for two, I knew I was done for. It did have you rooting for things like an interception returned for a two-point conversion to inflate the lead from one point to three points, as unlikely as that was to occur and of course, didn't.

Then I figured that Missouri would play for a field goal, which is exactly what they did. I was hoping for somebody to break loose through the box and possibly score, but that didn't happen, either. I would rather Arkansas have pulled the upset than for Missouri to win by 2. Just a gut punch.

Yikes. Tennessee scores to cut the lead to 18 late in the fourth quarter and I'm thinking that I'm going to lose the wager because they're going to kick an extra point. Then they decide to go for two and they are stopped and I'm thinking I've got it one. Then, of course, they score with 27 seconds to play and cut the lead to 12, which means another loss for me. Man, I'm bad at this.

You guys were right on both counts with Iowa State and Virginia. WVU was no contest for ISU. I saw somewhere that said this was Virginia's first win over Boston College ever but apparently they've only played 7 or 8 times.

Okay let’s see how we did...we picked 14 teams but 2 were no contests—Charlotte played WKU instead of FIU and the Buffalo-Ohio game was canceled. Of the remaining 12, 7 covered, 2 won but did not cover (Darrell’s favorite), and 3 lost. I’ve got to quit picking bad teams in these games (W. Michigan). The’s week’s BIG winners with their great minds thinking alike were Blueboss and Catmanjack both at +50, very nice. Also in the black for the week were Flounder at +20 and yours truly with +29.
