Extremely impressive duo and very diverse that would knock down some hurdles Republicans have faced (rightfully so) for decades.

I think we have seen the R party needs a non-politician.

So give me Candace Owens. Well spoken and such a damn good debater. And she is self made. She would be able to step into and grab almost all of Trumps supporters and dig into the inner city vote more than Trump did.

I am hoping Trump runs again :) I am not sure his loyal followers will back any other candidate the way they did/do him.

Peace

Trey Gowdy would be my preference, backed up by either Candice Owens or Tim Scott

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Don Jr get into politics.

I agree. Trump does not like losing. Its why he is successful in business.

Sure hope he learns from his loss.

So, outside of CW, would the above choices be your preference if Trump wants to run again? Or would Trump be your choice?

You want the best candidate is that Trump probably not.
I would be for firing everyone that is currently elected and starting over.

Trump is just too polarizing. Overall he did a good job but the name calling, arrogance just gets tiring.

My choices are above

Its not my place to pick the next Republican nominee...ha. But, I would have very mixed feelings on Trump running again in 2024 if I were a Republican.

In his favor, he brings out the vote. Not just for him, but down the ballot. From a Republican standpoint, he was very successful with judges and with getting his tax cut passed.

Against the notion, he ran up the debt and I would just be over the circus around him. And quite honestly, I am not sure he would win in 4 years.

Imho, I think the Republicans have a real opportunity here. The national landscape is changing.

If I were a Republican strategist, it would be all about making inroads with minorities.

Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Nevada and Arizona are all states that it is almost impossible to win without building a larger share of minority vote.
But especially in those sunbelt states, the hispanic vote is key.
That vote is gettable for a different Republican candidate not named Trump. This is a broad brush but hispanics in general are more conservative. They aren't a fan of super socialism. But, the candidates immigration policy would have to be more moderate than Trump's was. Florida is a bit different because the Cuban vote is so different but in the other states they really need to make some strides.

People often forget just how close Mitt Romney came to beating Obama in 2012.

A lot depends on if Biden were to run again in 2024. A lot of people do not think he will.
This is just my opinion, but if the Republicans put forward a moderate candidate, I think they have a very good shot at beating whoever the Dems put forward. But both parties have the same issue....its hard to get through the primary of either party as a moderate. McCain and Romney did but ran into the buzzsaw that was Obama. Biden did, but that is simply because Dems were so coalesced at beating Trump. Not sure either party can pull it off again. We shall see.

Good thoughts, D. If I were the candidate I would win in a landslide:

1. Help students repay loans
2. Set up path for legal immigration. My wife is Hispanic and folks like her embrace close families and work their asses off
3. Reach out to minorities and work on rebuilding inner cities
4. Protect gun rights
5. Return troops home with almost no foreign intervention.
6. Equitable tax system

More to come....

I agree in how you mean that. He would scare me to death as a candidate in the sense that he would be very hard to beat.
BUT, he could never get through a primary now. He's too moderate and there is a large section of Trump supporters that will never forgive him.

He would get more votes from democrats

People wouldn’t vote for Romney in the primaries.

Disagree
There are many democrats that would vote for him in the primary.

In the dictionary, under RINO, there is a picture of Mitt and John McCain spooning

Trump 2024!!!!!!!!! We were close......Look at the tweet tonight from the China Republic. They fear Trump and celebrating Biden. The only thing I fear right now is this transition.

Peace

The only thing that could possibly stall things is the senate and republicans hold the majority.
And pray the old statue makes his term.
