Biden is liberal, but not leftist. But if he's POTUS, and God Forbid if the Senate changes hands, then you'd better get ready for Leftism On Parade.

The DNC is using all of its muscle to make a vote for Biden look like a vote for moderation. Biden is a stuffed shirt, so he'll be whatever suits him politically, but Sanders is for real and so are the extreme Left, and they will be clamoring for a sea change in American values and politics.

They've silenced AOC and the Squad, put Kasich and Colin Powell in their place, but Kasich and Powell won't be the ones in the caucus meetings and on twitter pushing the agenda. As soon as the election is over those guys go back to their retirement homes, and AOC and Bernie will be rallying the troops, and Biden just told you that's the plan.

I think in the statute of frauds they call this one the "bait and switch."

Biden has already said he would be the most progressive president ever.

If Biden was in complete control of his faculties I’d believe him to be similar to Bill Clinton policy wise. Since he appears diminished (may not be, but appears so) who he surrounds himself with will have more influence on policy and direction than Biden ever would. So he very well could be the most Progressive and not even know he was.....

Does what Biden says matter? Seriously.

Biden has no beliefs. Never has had any. Look at his history on busing. He ran as a liberal in the 1970s, pro-busing and desegregation. When he took that position in Washington and found out his vastly white rich constituents in Delaware didn't like the idea, he worked to put forth an amendment that actually was originally put forth by Jesse Helms, which allowed a block of federal mandate on busing, this from a "liberal".

Go back and look at his entire history and you'll never find a principled stand on some ideological issue. Never. He's a pure politician, and has always been "handled" versus being his own man.

He's the ultimate "go along, get along" guy, and now he's one that is even easier to manage from his puppet strings than ever before.
