Darrell, I know it's tit-for-tat, but the official boxscore from ESPN.com, the Lexington Herald Leader, the Courier Journal, bigbluehistory.com, and kentuckysportsradio.com, all have Nerlins listed with 7 blocks for the game, and a total of 9 for the team. It doesn't change the outcome, as Dan still wins. I only knew because it's the only one I got right, and I've been keeping a running game by game comparison of Noel and Davis thru now, 18 games.

Well, the official box score shows him with 8 blocked shots. I know at one point it had 7; possible that the scorekeeper went back and reviewed other blocks, which happens occasionally.

If I'm guessing, I'd say they went back and gave him credit for the two blocks he had late in the game--right before Alabama scored on the tip-in by Jacobs to put Alabama up 51-48. Huge play in the game--I remarked during the game that the scorekeeper must be caught rooting for Alabama, as he missed a Noel block at the time. Probably did, and fixed it officially.

8 blocked shots for Noel, 10 for the team in the game. Nerlens Noel has 83 blocked shots on the season, not 82 (as some are showing).
