Embarrassed to say it's new to me. Of course one reason it's not well known is it happens post WWII and every American history class I've ever taken ran out of time around WWI. lol.

Yeah, well, thanks to the Progressives American history, as it should be taught, just isn't anymore. However, I have heard that they teach some really watered-down American history now that doesn't even resemble actual American history at all. And for some reason world history is much more important than our nation's history.
