"Generally speaking, for seven years, I play things pretty tight to the chest on issues," Stoops said. "But not on this issue. Everybody has to get off the sideline and get in the game and be part of the solution. That's just a fact. That's the way it is."

Very proud or our staff and team.

I hope they are supporting the handful of African American people unjustly killed by some bad apple cops and not the group Black Lives Matter, big difference

One is too many, but according to Washington Post there were 10 unarmed black men killed by cops last year in a country of 325 million. That's a slow week night in Chicago for black vs black killing. I later heard, under pressure, they raised that number to 15, but some of those had weapons in their cars.

I will pass out kudos to everyone who protests when they march every time a police officer gets killed protecting these protestors “rights”. 89 officers died in 2019 in the line of duty.

I will feel more empathy when they get serious about their internal problems: 80% illegitimacy, black vs black crime, legions of fatherless families, etc. I hop Stoops, Love, etc are teaching our players this. Constantly playing the victim won't get you far in life
