I would feel sorry for those who would have to live through it, but some part of me really wishes they'd do this so the whole country could see the results. It would end some of this extremism.

If I were the Minneapolise police union boss I'd accommodate them. Do a week long blue flu of the entire force and see how it goes. might only take a weekend to shake people back into this plane of existence.

If the police department accommodates their thoughts and wishes it would be a positive for their city if the fire department, ambulance service, city street and water departments, and other departments I have not mentioned, would join the police department in their choice to take a few days off as a group.
