Doesn’t sound like UK is leaving it to chance, a roll of the dice, or a pull of the bandit’s arm.

I thought the article was great, and I liked some of the creative solutions. I especially liked dividing the student body into Team Blue, Team White, and Team Wildcat to reduce the numbers of kids in any one spot. [Does that mean we have to add "Wildcat" to the Blue/White chant in Rupp?]

I like the involvement by so many stakeholders. The infectious disease background of Dr. Capilouto will pay great dividends.

This is getting ridiculous.

This is getting ridiculous.

Only certain groups on campus? In person till November, then online?

Here’s a novel idea:

1) Operate a normal, in person schedule
2) Do your jobs to make that as safe as reasonably possible
3) Send people who get sick to the hospital if necessary

This is a huge issue, but it does NOT merit the cessation and changing of life as we know it.

Agreed. There is a great opinion piece at the WSJ today and if you have a subscription it is well worth the read. It discusses the situation at Liberty University which kept its campus open. There have been no cases of covid 19 on campus.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the % of people that age who die of Covid can barely be measured, better chance of getting hit by lightning

That’s true unless you live in a long term care facility in NY where to governor sent infected Covid19 patients to infect others.

Well, not everone has a direct line to God, either.

THE FOLLOWING IS MEANT TO BE HUMOR

Also, those at Liberty as not as inclinded to want to get close to one another like other college students.

THE ABOVE IS MEANT TO BE HUMOR

The opinion piece went on to state the liberal left will never acknowledge the leadership of Jerry Falwell, Jr and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Who have both made many of the correct calls.
